PPrompt Psychologyby Damian Gozzett

ABOUT · METHODOLOGY

A mental model for working with AI

Prompt Psychology was created by Damian Gozzett to explain how clearer communication, context and judgement affect the way people work with AI. The course teaches transferable ways to direct and evaluate AI systems, rather than collections of prompt templates.

THE METHOD

Control starts before the prompt

The method begins with purpose and context, then makes constraints, evidence requirements and success criteria explicit. Outputs are checked rather than accepted automatically, and human judgement remains responsible for the final decision.

01

Purpose and context

Define the outcome, audience and relevant background before asking the system to act.

02

Constraints and evidence

Set boundaries, request support for important claims and make uncertainty visible.

03

Human control

Review, test and refine the result. The person using the system remains accountable.
